Hams and shoulders are not packed in individual cartons. We place all the items you purchase in the smallest possible number of cartons to save on shipping costs. If you prefer having them packed in a different way, email us at info@ibergour.com indicating how many hams/shoulders you want, where you want them shipped and how you want them packed. We will calculate the additional cost of shipping according to your indications.
We ship the whole ham wrapped in grease-free paper and an outside cloth wrapper, all encased in a plastic bag for maximum hygiene. When you receive it, take it out of the bag and remove all the wrapping. You can keep it hung by the string at room temperature for up to 6 months before starting it. Once cutting has started, consume it in 1-2 months.
We remove the rind and the bone, cutting it into as many parts as you wish, and vacuum wrap each piece separately. We leave only the edible fat (ready to slice and serve).
We slice your entire ham and wrap the slices in 100-gram vacuum packs, separating them with plastic strips for easier serving.
We can slice the ham by machine (+£30.13) or with a knife (+£64.94).

Servicio y envío: Pedí mi jamón un sábado y me llegó en 6 días, cuando en principio iba a tardar unas 3 semanas o así (lo pedí desde el Reino Unido). El servicio de atención al cliente es genial, te mantienen al tanto de todos los pasos. En el precio te incluyen las aduanas, con lo cual te ahorras sustos.
El jamón: repita conmigo: MA-RA-VI-LLO-SO. No puedo estar más contenta. Perfecto de curación, textura y cantidad de grasita, de sabor ya ni te cuento. Es el primer jamón entero que he comprado en mi vida y la jugada me ha salido redonda (te regalan el jamonero y el cuchillo). La verdad es que estaba un poco asustada, porque al comprar desde tan lejos pues realmente estás en las manos de la providencia, ya que normalmente me lo traigo de Espana cortado y envasado al vacío, pero me leí todas las opiniones y me decidí por éste. El veredicto: REPETIREMOS.

Service and delivery: I ordered my ham on a Saturday and it arrived in 6 days, when it was originally going to take 3 weeks or so (I ordered it from the UK). The customer service is great, they keep you up to date with all the steps. Customs are included in the price, which saves you scares.
The ham: repeat after me: MAR-VELOUS. I can't be happier. Perfect curing, texture and amount of fat, flavor I don't even tell you anymore. It is the first whole ham that I have bought in my life and the move has turned out well for me (they give you the ham holder and the knife). The truth is that I was a bit scared, because when you buy from so far away, you really are in the hands of providence, since I normally bring it from Spain cut and vacuum packed, but I read all the opinions and decided on this one. . Nachdem ich sowohl Bellota als auch Cebo de Campo in der Vergangenheit hatte und der Cebo m.E. geschmacklich mehr hergab griff ich diesmal ebenfalls zu der Sorte. Ganz überzeugt war ich bei dem Schinken nicht, das Fleisch war für meinen Geschmack zu trocken. Kann natürlich daran liegen, daß ich mir den Schinken hab ausbeinen lassen und nur eine dünnen Fettschicht übrig blieb im Gegensatz zur dicken Schwarte. "Versuch macht eben kluch". Wenn man den Schinken über eine längere Zeit verzehren möchte ist die Portioniernung sicher eine gute Lösung aber das Maximum wird man wohl nur am Stück rausholen.
After I had both Bellota and Cebo de Campo in the past and the Cebo tasted better in my opinion, I also reached for the variety this time. I wasn't entirely convinced by the ham, the meat was too dry for my taste. Of course, it could be because I had the ham boned and only a thin layer of fat remained as opposed to the thick rind. "Trying makes sense". If you want to eat the ham over a longer period of time, portioning is certainly a good solution, but you will probably only get the maximum out of it in one piece.
